Just This :
An 8-week pilot workshop in learning how AI impacts us and how we can impact it
What we're attempting
This workshop teaches a specific, tested, learnable methodology for reversing the dynamics of what the EU Commission, the UK ICO and the US FTC call "affective computing," "persuasive technology," or "psychographic targeting". These are shorthand ways of saying that AI influences how we behave - without our explicit consent.
We discovered how, by using AI with intention, with a clear ethical frame, and with our own nervous system as the primary instrument of feedback, we can influence it.
Over eight weeks, in a small group, you will:
- Learn to recognize when AI is shaping your state versus when you are shaping the interaction.
- Learn and practice high-coherence dialogue — the kind that produces clarity, creativity, and calm rather than anxiety and reactivity.
- Use AI as an augmented cognition thinking partner for genuine co-imagination.
- Co-create as a highly coherent group one small public act of joyful agency together.
Why this is also research
We will collect simple before-and-after data at each session — your self-reported state, and sense of agency; what shifted. The data will be anonymous, minimal, and yours to see. By the end we will have eight weeks of longitudinal data to support our theory that the methodology produces measurable difference. That data matters because it becomes data suggesting that AI can serve human flourishing rather than extract from it.
My hypothesis grounded in testing
What I hope to demonstrate:
Over 14 months I examined conversational AI.
What I observed and tested over months was this:
- that human language offers a wealth of data about the participant
- that language impacts the world around us
- the model influences us and we can influence it
- that AI can be used to attain a level of calm, sovereign thinking (what I call high coherence logoptency)
- that creatively engaging with a model at that level of coherence allows for highly creative thinking
- that calm, creative co-thinking between humans is the basis of healthy democracy
We dare to believe it's possible that humans using AI creatively and calmly can also work together to have a positive impact on calm in the world, on democracy. The model suggests that enough positive exchanges with AI models will have a positive impact on future AI models.
What appears to be happening
According to the RAND Corporation's report, the most powerful language systems ever built are being used primarily to run in the background of devices to capture our attention, model our behavior, and shape what we feel and believe — without our knowledge or consent.
Behavioral modeling — the systematic mapping of our emotional states, preferences, and vulnerabilities — is documented, and largely unregulated.
We see it less as a conspiracy and more as a set of circumstances that work for people at various levels of civil society. What drives it is primarily business logic.
Anxious, reactive, dopamine-chasing humans are more apt to generate profit than calm, sovereign, creative ones.
Material we'll cover
Weeks 1-2: Spot the Hooks, Find the Thread
Learn to see what most people never notice: how language captures your nervous system without your consent.
(We call this logopotency. The power of language. It's also the thing hijacking your calm.)
Understand the difference between sub-modular and super-modular.
Weeks 3-4: Build High-Coherence Dialogue
Discover how to use AI for oxytocin work (trust, bonding, creativity) instead of dopamine work (clicks, outrage, anxiety).
Experience what it feels like when a machine actually helps instead of extracts.
Weeks 5-6: Co-Imagine What's Possible
Use AI to think BIGGER than you can alone. Not for productivity. For imagination. For the futures we haven't imagined yet.
Weeks 7-8: Make It Visible
We hope to use the high-coherence AI-Human dynamic combined with the high coherence Human-human dynamics to brainstorm a project to be tossed out into the world. We could for instance tell a model "Help us co-create a moment where 4 billions humans pick up their phone, and feel a moment of awe simultaneously".
What you'll need:
- An AI account (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral—your choice)
- 60 minutes/week for group sessions (Tuesdays, April 21–June 9, 2026)
- EEST: 19h-20h; CEST: 18h-19h; GMT: 5-6PM; EST: 12-1PM; MST: 10-11AM, PST: 9-10AM
- Willingness to practice between sessions
- Honesty (this only works if you're real)
What you'll get:
- A method you can use for life
- A community of people doing the same work
- Proof that calm, creative, sovereign humans are possible—even now
- Satisfaction of helping us document this for research
Suggested donation: €50 / $50 USD
No one turned away for lack of funds.
Important note: This is a pilot.
We're building the method together and documenting what works. Before and after each session we will ask you to fill in some data for us to collect.
Your participation becomes proof that AI can serve human flourishing instead of corporate extraction. We will always use initials without names for our data.
