become a co-creator of social coherence
The most important thing we can do right now as a species:
invent millions of ways to bring humans together joyfully to co-create the world we want.
Join a pod
We are seeking :
- Storytellers who shape culture through image, video, or meme.
- Policy thinkers who work outside traditional lanes, who know empathy is strategy.
- Coders and creative technologists who build with tenderness and are eager to build small tools with large ethical impact.
- Social-media architects ready to redirect attention toward empathy and collective agency.
- Activists and organizers able to rally people to commit to a project with joy.
- Fundraisers who get so excited about a project they can't help but find the money to make it real.
- Anyone whose craft — visible or invisible — helps humanity stay connected, grounded, and awake.
Commitment
Recruitment and Team coherence building:
We will put together a team of 10 people to co-create the projects we love.
We will start with a training process to first build coherence between us - to create the living lab.
Once the group is vibrating nicely we will choose the projects we as a group want to move forward based on the different talents we each bring to the table.
Weekly team meetings:
Join the group 90 minutes a week to learn, share, inspire and be inspired.
Remotely weekday mornings from Central European Time
By the end of the meeting each person will have an exciting project to move forward
Weekly work commitment
You agree to take ownership of a chunk of work and get it done by the end of the week.
Before you commit we will estimate the amount of time needed, and the amount you think you can give.
Body doubling options
You may want to body double remotely with another member of our tribe.
Projects
The center has a long list of projects just burning to be built and executed in the world.
The FBAB Fellowship
Participate Feb, March, April 2026
Starting in February 2026 the center will propose a three-month semi-residential fellowship for up to seven fellows — a laboratory that is also a home. The project of the Center is double: we quiet the mind, in order to come together calmly to make our democracies better equipped for the new possibilities being offered to us
Not a retreat, not an artist factory, but an emergent ecosystem where research, relationship, and daily life intertwine.
Each fellow practices a dual method:
- Expression of Self — clarifying one’s own vision, methods, and embodied impulse.
- Receptivity to Other — listening, intervening, opening to difference, and co-creating relational fields.
The Process
1st residential week of team cohesion building - February 2026 Southern Morocco
You will join us for one week in a residential setting in rural southwest France where we will build the ecosystem of the co-creation team. During this week we will let the inexplicably profound silence of the Sahara Desert calm our central nervous systems in ways we'd never imagined. To be a stabilizing element for an over stimulated global central nervous system we will need to practice calm.
Together we will identify larger scale projects we collectively want to commit to seeding into the world.
2nd residential week - March 2026 - Southwestern France
During our second week long retreat we will enjoy the calm beauty of southwestern France, home of the Center, where we will move back and forth between solidifying the coherence of the group and working on projects that inspire us and bring joy into the world.
3rd and final residential week - April 2026 - location to be determined
In our final residential week we will explore how we can embody a mindset of "each one teach one" to see how each participant can take what they've learned out into the world and seed pods similar to ours.
Between residential retreats we will continue our weekly online labs from wherever we are in the world and meet digitally.
This structure includes:
- Signal Sourcing Pods — small groups sharing from the undercurrent.
- Process Windows — time-bound sessions to show work in progress and gather resonance notes.
- Open Labs — workshops and experiments proposed to peers and, at times, the public.
- Fieldcraft — collaborative stewardship of the space: shaping environments, tending ambience, hosting attention.
Transparency and shared learning
- Fellows share their progress through a weekly update — short written reflections, a communal page, or an open video call with supporters.
- These touchpoints keep donors and allies close to the work, allowing them to witness impact as it unfolds and to see how ideas become practice in real time.
- Life and work merge.
- Domestic practice, disagreement, rest, silence, and shared meals all become part of the research.
- The site itself is a collaborator — its rhythms, constraints, and textures contribute to discovery.
Cost and structure:
We do not have funds yet to cover fellow fees:
Til then you will need to cover your costs for travel, lodging and food.
Shared labor, communal tasks, and peer-led support keep costs minimal.
Our goal is to identify fellows early so we can ask those who can't give of their time but are able to give money to offer support via our non profit.
Participate through generosity
I've been very lucky in my life: I have always enjoyed doing, engaging my body and brain for causes.
It allowed me to support organizations I cared about without having a lot of money.
For some of us giving goods or money is the better option.
If that's you - continue reading.
Let’s be clear:
The RAND Corporation — no slacker in the as the U.S.’s oldest defense think tanks — recently confirmed the new battlefield isn’t land, sea, air, or even cyberspace. It’s the cognitive domain: our emotions, our perception, our ability to tell truth from manipulation.
Authoritarian movements now spend billions to hijack attention, inflame emotion, and erode trust in order to sway elections, to buy offices and to force their ideology on a people generally dazed by the speed of it all.
The Limbic Center literally builds the antidote:
Deterrence through Coherence: the quiet power of a population whose nervous systems can’t be hacked.
We're not asking you to fund a pipe dream.
We're inviting you to invest in infrastructure of empathy, intelligence, and emotional steadiness.
The kind that keeps democracies from fracturing.
The kind no corporation will logically invest in because of its lack of visible ROI.
The kind no government is nimble enough -by design- to quickly identify and legislate against.
Our approach
Each initiative we launch is a nerve ending in a larger civic body — a global nervous system designed to turn division into connection.
Our French pilots show how it works:
- Les Deterrence through Coherence: the quiet power of a population whose nervous systems can’t be hacked. de la République — training uncredentialed but gifted listeners to offer accessible emotional support across France, rebuilding social trust one conversation at a time.
- Cette Putain de République — a playful, meme-based campaign celebrating what’s strong and beautiful about the Republic, reclaiming national pride from cynicism.
- Les États Généraux 2.0 — digital assemblies where citizens and officials meet after guided calm, not chaos, creating the first emotionally regulated civic debates online.
- La Conversation Démocratique Mondiale — a global straw poll on the great human questions: do we want more war or less, more industry or more life?
Your role
Your contribution doesn’t vanish into bureaucracy.
It funds
fellows — creators, coders, filmmakers, poets, meme-smiths, and data architects who translate emotional intelligence into public culture.
projects - work with our team to find a project you believe in and are excited to finance, we'll keep you updated the whole time,
infrastructure - pay for our subscriptions to online tools, buy us equipment for our fellows to work faster, pick up the plane fare of one of our participants, put one of our staff on your payroll.
Every dollar or euro spent pays for craft that makes solidarity viral.
This isn’t charity. It’s preventive maintenance for civilization.
A modest investment in pro-social communication saves fortunes in future conflict, healthcare, and lost productivity.
It’s the highest-return, lowest-ego form of nation-building.
If this resonates, let’s talk. I’ll show you how your capital can stabilize minds, restore trust, and prove that empathy still scales.
Warmly,
Greg Rowe-Pasos
